Affinity Publishing Group Inc.’s CEO Shares Her Story of Success
December 14, 2022 – Summerfield, FL – Angela R. Anderson, CEO of Affinity Publishing Group Inc. shares her story of success. In a recent evaluation of the company’s future, Anderson admits that her biggest mistake in the past 23 years has been not having enough faith in herself and placing her faith in others. Faith in her songwriters was never a question.
The expression, “Don’t quit your day job.” was a resounding “white noise” by everyone who offered “advice” to the young entrepreneur and singer. Anderson followed the advice of everyone. She worked hard at her day job from transferring videos to IT management and software development.
For the past 23 years the company struggled to make it because Anderson never really spent the time she needed to make her own company grow and her dreams of singing come true. Although everyone gave her well intentioned advice, they were WRONG!
Anderson failed to follow the one “voice” speaking to her. God. After mourning the death of her adopted mother in 1998, Anderson asked God for a husband. In the midst of hysterical tears, she heard “Now will you sing for me?” So excited and surprised to actually get an answer, Anderson said she would be married to God until she married her husband.
Failure after failure for the past 24 years of building up and then losing everything, Anderson finally, this year, made the choice to lay everything on the line once again and to trust that God wanted her to sing. This time she would only listen to God.
When Anderson started listening to God and disregarding the “white noise”, things began to turn around in a big way. Recently out of an 8 month sabbatical with God, Anderson knows that God will not fail her now. She is now on stage keeping her promise to God and walking is His light. Her promised husband will come, and they will reap the rewards that have been planned for them from the beginning.
“God has been the only one to invest in my company. When I realized that, failing was not scary anymore.” said Anderson.
“When I first moved to Tennessee, I went to the local grocery store IGA. They had a weekly bankroll and if your ticket was punched when they called you, you would win the bankroll money. I remember telling God that if He would let me win the bankroll, I would buy a guitar and amplifier with the money.” said Anderson. “A few weeks later IGA called! I won the bankroll! It was $412. Although the water bill and electricity bill needed to be paid, I left IGA with $412 and went straight to the music store and bought my guitar and amplifier! And, with the change left over, I bought my neighbors each a carton of cigarettes.” quipped Anderson. “It was our 1st Dollar. God was my investor from the beginning.”
“It really pays to keep promises to God. God is my light. God is my water. God is my investor.” said Anderson. “My only regret is that I did not figure out sooner that it is better to put your trust in God and not in people, and certainly not in money.”

Audio Problems on Honky Tonk Network prompts Dusti Roads to Release New Song Early
December 10, 2022 – Summerfield, FL – Problems with the audio setup forces Dusti Roads to sound check without music. The country singer thought it was a great time to practice a new song written by Angela Renee’ Anderson(BMI) for Passover 2022. The new song titled “God Took The Thorns Off The Roses” will be featured on The Dusti Roads Show’s, “New Year Concert Special” coming on Honky Tonk Network in January 2023 during Season 2. Honky Tonk Network has not set the exact season opening date as of yet. “We are lining up our guests and are in taping. We are also selecting the television stations that will air The Dusti Roads Show. Our initial plan is to open in 7 cities across the country. We want launch in all cities at the same time. Taping officially began today and Honky Tonk Network has not disclosed the Season 2 coming episodes. Dusti’s excitement can be clearly seen as they test the new studio cameras and sound system. “God has truly blessed me! Through it all He is the only one I have been able to count on and I am excited about the plans He has for me and The Dusti Roads Show!” said Dusti. (APGI) completes the branding for the new corporate look and feel with the launch of Affinity Ministries’ bible study, “Revelation – The Holy Word Of God.” The bible study originally published in 2008 features a comprehensive study on the book of Revelation. The lessons are taught by Dusti Roads and narrated by voice-over actor, Kenneth Graham Austin.
With the launch of the new website affinityministries.org, writer and CEO of APGI, Angela R. Anderson has positioned the bible study to accomplish Jesus’ request to get His message out to all the nations. “I’m very excited Jesus’ song is finally out there. I never planned on writing the bible study on Revelation. It came about from seven months of Sundays teaching in the nursing homes. I stumbled on the lessons when I decided to do an audio for the nursing home residents who were not well enough to attend the services. God wrote the bible study through me and it was actually written in 2007. I only discovered that I had written the book in 2008.” said Anderson.
Affinity believes that the online book will be helpful for those who want a closer relationship with God and is insuring that by not only hosting the comprehensive study on https://affinityministries.org but also on YouTube @affinityministries. APGI will also be featuring the Revelation bible study on local broadcast television stations across the United States for those who do not have access to cable or internet.

When developing the online study, Dusti Roads created a format generic enough for churches/synagogues/temples to be able to use free of charge in bible study classes. The online study includes text lessons with a test at the end of each chapter, video lessons in each chapter with graphic clouds provided by God, and a refresher audio review lesson at the end.

The Honky Tonk Network pulled out its arsenal by launching The Dusti Roads Show with Patsy Cline, Cowboy Copus, Hawkshaw Hawkins, Randy Hughes, and country singer Josh Leonard. It feels like 1963 all over again when Dusti Roads performs a heartfelt and memorable tribute to Patsy Cline.

Nashville, March 19, 2021: Affinity Publishing Group, Inc., Murfreesboro’s 1st Music Publisher, will launch The Dusti Roads Show on March 28, 2021 on Channel 2 WKRN Nashville. The Dusti Roads Show is a local variety child, you would go with your parents after church to visit aunts and uncles and grandparents? A boring Sunday afternoon and the kids outside playing while the grow- ups were inside watching TV and talking, The Dusti Roads Show captures that tranquility with interesting people and places as only Country Music Singer, Dusti Roads can. God has gifted Dusti with the “Oil of Joy” and has tasked her with sharing that joy with the world. The purpose of the show is to help the viewers get back to basic life as in the old days before reality TV, volatile politics and tabloid exploitation of the news. The point of the show is to be boring and be a TV show viewers can watch to get away from the chaos of the world and for a few minutes, focus on nothing yet enjoy a variety of down home conversations…just like grandma used to have with family after church on Sundays.” quipped Anderson. The corporation is a Tennessee Corporation and has begun the process of filing as a Foreign Corporation in Florida. Anderson relocated to The Villages, FL in 2017 and purchased a home in Summerfield, FL in 2019. “Tennessee will always be home for Affinity. It is our plan to operate in both states.” said Anderson.
Affinity became Murfreesboro’s 1st music publisher when the company had to request the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce to create a music publishing category in the directory. The Chamber wanted to place the company in the book publishing category. They stated, “It will be the only company listed in the “Music Publishing” category. And the Chamber cannot have only one company listed in a category.” After considerable pressure from Anderson, the RC Chamber created “Music Publishing” as a business category and Affinity became Murfreesboro’s 1st Music Publisher. With the new re-launch of its companies, Affinity is now a BMI Publisher under Xcelsius Music.

Affinity Publishing Group, Inc. is offering help to storm victims. The company will provide video transfer services and picture restoration to those families who suffered total losses of their homes in the Friday tornados. Affinity will transfer and recover family videos, including 8mm/Hi8/VHSC, and 8mm / 16mm reel to reels. Transfer services for other victims will be generously discounted. Affinity is asking volunteers, the media, family and friends who are helping with the clean up to let the families know that help is available for recovery of their family home movies and pictures. Anderson ministers to the elderly every Sunday morning at Parkview Meadows, Northside Healthcare, and Boulevard Terrace in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. “When we started studying the book of Revelation, I prayed over the lessons. I never expected to publish a book. When writing the lessons, it was about getting it right. It took seven months to write The Holy Revelation, and it was through prayer to God that I was able to write and teach it. It was never my intent to sell the book, but God had other plans. God answered my prayer.” said Anderson.
Ministering to the elderly is more than just a passion for Anderson. “They need love”, she says. She works very hard each Sunday to make sure they receive that love. “I never understood why I had to grow up without a mother, and now God has shown me that He reserved that love just for this purpose. It breaks my heart to see how strangers that come to the nursing homes look at the residents. They, without realizing it, act as if they will receive some sort of disease from being touched by the residents. It just makes me love them even more. The funny thing is, I am getting the best end of the deal to have all of those people love me back.
Anderson recently released her first CD titled “God’s Will Be Done.” She is a resident of Murfreesboro, TN.

Affinity Publishing Group, Inc. is set to release South Carolina native Angela Anderson’s 2nd book on Revelation. Angela Anderson of Nazareth Road, Spartanburg, wrote her first book “The Holy Revelation” in 2007 and was published in 2008.
Anderson, who now resides in Tennessee, is the daughter of Mary and Alvin Anderson of Spartanburg.
In 1999 Anderson founded Affinity Publishing Group, Inc. The company publishes music and books and converts old movie film and audio to DVD. A former IT Manager and consultant for companies such as Nissan, Broadcast Music Inc., Acuff Rose Publishing, Community Health Systems, and CMP Publications, Anderson has applied her knowledge of technology to her to grow business. Anderson quips, “Writing a bible study on Revelation seemed something I was born to do. God gives us all gifts. The one gift he gave to me was the desire to spread his word with the book of Revelation. I believe he meant for me to spread the gospel.” Anderson also holds church services for three nursing homes every Sunday morning.
